The tribal issues are certainly having an effect on the casino and hotels revenue. When went downstairs the following morning, the casino was almost empty. There is a very nice bar right in the center of the casino with video poker. The casino is very nice and well laid out. You might do better in Reno, but maybe not. We didn't win much gambling then again, that's why it's called gambling. The staff at the buffet and Goldfields were very friendly. We had dinner at Goldfields, their version of a coffee shop thought much nicer inside. My wife and I had lunch for less than $20. Like most buffets some items were very good, some not. We also had a nice view of the foothills. And the beds (we had a room with two queen beds) were very comfortable. At no time during our stay did we feel in danger or that there would any sort of hostilities. ![]() However, we didn't know and went ahead and stayed the one night. Had we known about this prior to our stay, we may have made other arrangements. We soon learned that one faction of the tribal council was attempting to take over the council, hotel, casino and all the operations. At the time we weren't sure what was going on. When we arrived at the hotel, we noticed a lot of security. ![]()
